Thanksgiving Holiday 2009

My Mother in-law found a great deal on plane tickets for Thanksgiving to Atlanta, GA from Salt Lake City, UT. So at last minute... and when I say last minute it was really last minute we bought our tickets on Tuesday and flew out the following Sunday before Thanksgiving to Georgia. We had a really nice time with The Spikes Family for Thanksgiving, and as a surprise they threw me a baby shower while we were there.

Jon and I were very grateful for all the gifts we received, and being able to see a lot of family and friends. I think everyone had fun guessing the size of my belly with toilet paper, all though I was tricky and most assumed I was smaller than I actually was. While we were gone my mother took a picture and sent it to me of our house while we were gone to show us what we were missing out on:

But the closest thing I could find to compare it to was the cotton fields so I took a picture of that to send back to her :D It's not quite snow, but its the best I could find.

Its a tradition every year in my family to go cut a Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving, so every year for as long as I can remember we have done so. Some years there is snow, and other years there isnt any snow to be found. Since we went to Georgia for Thanksgiving my parents waited till Saturday after Thanksgiving so we could go. I look forward to getting the tree every year, and now I have my own home its fun to be able to pick out the perfect tree for the year.

We had alot of fun and it was a really beautiful day not too cold, well it wasn't cold for Wyoming at all, but for 2 people who just got back the night before from Georgia it was kinda cold :0) and there was plenty of snow. My sister took some cute pictures of my baby belly, I think they turned out adorable. We also got one of Kym and I together to compare.
