Young Women in Excellence Night

Last night was our Young Women in Excellence Night, and since we don't have a lot of girl we combined with another ward. I think it turned out nice but I can't help and think that I put the thing on.
Rebecca did all my art work for me, she is very talented and such a great sister. We had all the girls bring a project to display that shows the work they have been working on through out the year in Personal Progress.
Then I made a DVD presentation that talks about the importance of Personal Progress and each of the values. It was a lot of work, and had a lot of help from several special ladies, so Thank You guys very much!

The DVD started out with a small video clip from the church of these two girls talking about the importance of personal progress then I went into each value and I had a woman in history tell her story and how she used that value to help her in trial.

Faith was Eliza R. Snow

Divine Nature was Mary

Individual Worth was Joan of Arc

Knowledge was Sacajawea

Choice and Accountability was Eve

Good Works was Florence Nightingale

Integrity was Esther

Virtue was Ruth

All the ladies who played their part did an excellent job and I cant thank them enough. After the DVD my boss who is also a Bishop sang a "Beautiful Savior" He was defiantly the hit of the night everyone was so impressed at his singing abilities. Then we had Cake and Ice Cream. I had fun putting everything together, but I'm more than happy to have it done. Its a huge stress relief to be done with it.
Now lets focus on Thanksgiving where is the Turkey?
