Since Jon and I are in the Young Womens and Young Mens program for church we got to chaperone the Halloween dance. We went as scarecrows/farmers. I'm not sure what we really were, but I got Jon to dress up with me. I wanted to paint freckles on his face, but he said that was pushing it.
The dance was fun, they had several games before planned. We did a cupcake walk, which Jon was willing to help out and eat my cupcake too.
Then they had a spook ally, but because we were chaperones we didnt get to go in :( we had to watch the kids waiting to go in. I heard they did a good job and it was fun. Our last game was an ice cream game. Each kid had a partner, and one of the partners layed under a table with an ice cream cone in there mouth. While the other partner layed on top of the table with a scoop of ice cream. The idea was to try and drop the ice cream into the cone. That looked way fun. They had ice cream everywhere. One kid got it in the eye, most of the girls ended up with ice cream in there hair. Once again I tried to convience Jon to try it with me, but he said he didnt trust me. I can't imagine why? :P
We had a good night with the youth, and we did our best to make sure they were all dancing. We even asked for some of them, HEE HEE!

Sounds like fun! If you really need a sugar cookie stop by and frost one and you can come see our house too. We would love to see you!
