Our Christmas this year was so much fun. Bridger is old enough to understand the whole present thing and he knows who Santa is but I don't think he quite understands that he brought gifts ;) Christmas Eve we had our annual Grilled ham and Cheese and tomato soup dinner ( Meal for a King I know) and then we watched a movie and put Bridger to bed. Then Jon and I put Bridger's present together. (So much for the help of little elves) When Bridger woke up we told him lets go upstairs and see if Santa came. His face when he walked into the living room and saw his present was priceless.
We then opened the presents we had under the tree. It was a nice day to be home with my family. I can honestly say it was kinda perfect.
Then since Jon and I had to fly out the next morning to go to Boston we went to my parents for Christmas dinner and to leave Bridger. That was honestly one of the hardest things I have done. I cried and cried. I hadn't left Bridger over night since Jon was in the hospital so it was extremely hard for me.
