Well 2010 is here... I'm very excited and nervous about this year... It's like the year we got married I already know this year is going to have some major changes for me and Jon.On New Years Eve we got to take another peek at the baby boy. She was able to get a good pic of his profile. I can't believe how much he has grown in just two months. The doctor said he has turned into position for delivery so there is no need to plan a c-section. YEAH!!!!!
She also said we are having a girl! LOL I guess his big feet were in the way and we couldn't get a could look at that area.
So she assumed we were having a girl, but when we looked very shocked! She asked what she told us before. I said quite nervous, "A BOY!" She thumbed through the chart and noted that she had told us a boy before.
But we got some cute pictures of his feet. She did take another look and assured Jon and I that we are still having a boy. He weighs 3 pounds already and she took another look at his heart and said everything looks great. As most of you know with all the trouble I have had with my own heart I have been quite concerned about his.Bad News: because of the growth of my uterus and the little guy needing more room he has dislocated at least two of my ribs. So with everything pushing up it gets pretty painful, but the worst part is our darling little son has reached the point where he can kick my ribs and he does so often... which is very painful. I keep trying to move him away from them, but he is already stubborn. I told him, "Stop kicking my ribs you punk!" and he hauled off and kicked them again so I agreed that I wont call him a punk anymore.
I also want to give you a sneak preview of my cradle.
My Dad has been working very hard on a cradle for his new grandson and I think it is turning out beautiful. When ever I go over to their house I like to just go look at it and rock it back and forth while trying to picture my son laying in it.So far the start of this New Year has been good for us, I hope things continue in that order. Our next Doctors Appointment is on the 15th so I'll post more news then.
