MY BABY!!

I have a lot of time to think, since I sit in a chair all day. I can't really describe what I went through to get my baby, I know I didn't struggle as long as some, but I did struggle. Because of that struggle I know I will be a better mother because of it. There have been so many of you who I relied on your testimonies and strength to get me through. I learned the love my Savior and Heavenly Father really have for me. I can't count how many times a day I got on my knees and thanked my Heavenly Father when I finally found out I was pregnant. I have never wanted anything more than to be a mom, and I'm grateful that the Lord has blessed me with this gift. I wanted to express my feelings for my baby some way so I wrote a poem to my future child, my baby! I can't express the joy I feel just to be able to say My Baby, and although its not here yet and it's only been 4 months (YES I'M FINALLY TO 4 MONTHS!!!) and we still have a little ways to go. I'm still happy I can share this experience with My Baby!

MY BABY

I was told you would never come,

I was told I would never be a mom.

So many tears I cried,

My faith and strength tried.

Everyday I waited,

My joy always belated.

The day I knew,

My dream had finally came true.

My feelings I could not describe,

The joy we could not hide.

Doctor told me your angel baby has come,

Your going to be a mom.

I saw your little heart beat,

I can't wait till we meet.

The sound of your little heart,

I was so glad God did his part.

Everyday I dream who you will be,

And wonder the things you will teach me.

Although your still very small,

The Love I have for you will never fall.

When I feel you move inside me,

There is no other place I'd rather be.

I fought for you,

I cried for you,

I prayed for you,

And now it's you that's making my greatest dream come true.
