Cardinals and Rockies Game

Jon and I drove to Denver, CO for the St. Louis Cardinals and Colorado Rockies Game. Oh... and we were there to see the Cardinals, we are not Rockies fans! I have never been to a Major League Baseball game before, ok so I have never been to a baseball game before. It was something new for me. Did you guys know that they actually sell peanuts and cracker jacks? I guess I thought that was something they did like in the 50's I didn't realize they still sold them. So when I saw this old guy going to town on peanuts, I was a bit surprised. I was a little dissapointed that after the National Anthem nobody yelled "Play Ball"! I always thought that would be cool to hear someone officially yell that out. I had a way good time though. We didn't catch any foul balls, but Albert Pujols did throw a bat into the crowd about 50 feet in front of us. We still didn't catch it, Jon said he would have paid to have it hit him in the mouth, just so he could have a Pujols bat. The little kid that did get hit with it ended up with a broken arm, and still no bat. A guy from above us came running down and took it. I still don't think that was very fair, but what do I know. I also don't think it was fair that I stood for an hour and half waiting for Pujols to sign a ball, and there was no batting practice so they didn't sign that day. What kind of rule is that? Anyway... the Cardinals lost by one point, so the final score was 4-3 Rockies. It was fun to actually be that close to the players and see a live game. I'm glad we went, and Jon really enjoyed himself, he is already planning out which games we are going to go to next year.

Now that we got the fun stuff out of the way, or I guess "Sports Stuff" time for the baby update, cause lets face it thats all you guys care about anyway... right? ;) It's ok I wont tell Jon. We had another Doctor's appointment on Friday the 25th. Doc said, "Everything looks perfect with Angel Baby" I think its cute she calls the baby "Angel Baby". The Heart beat is getting stronger and a lot louder. I have only gained 2 ounces, but I feel like I have gained more than that. But as you can tell from the picture I don't look like I'm 15 weeks, so I guess that explains it. Doc is not worried about my wieght though, she said everything is going fine, and my belly is growing. So... HA MOM! I do have a belly. She took some more blood to test for genetic disorder or a chromosomal abnormality. The good news is we get to find out on the 23rd of October rather this little babe-alicious is a boy or girl. So take the poll above and vote. The poll ends before my doctors appointment so there will be no cheating. I'm sure October will be the longest month of my life, but I can't wait to find out what it is. So what am I going to be buying? Pink Or Blue it's up to you... actually it's up to God, but "you" rhymes so well I couldn't help it.
