Jon's First Mule Deer

Jon got his first Mule Deer on Thursday, October 9, 2008. Jon hunted lots back home in Georgia and has killed many White Tail Deer, but this is his first Mule Deer. He and I spent all day Friday, October 3 hunting and didn't see a single deer. So my brother Kris took us out on Saturday and we saw lots of deer but it was snowing and we had a hard time getting close enough to shoot at them. Kris and Jon were both soaking wet and cold by noon. So we called it a day went home, got cleaned up, and went to the movies. We had to go back to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday afternoon Jon and Kris had the afternoon off, so they went back out. I had to stay and work :( About 5:00 P.M. I get a phone call from a very excited hunter telling me he shot his First Mule Deer, and he was standing on top of the dead deer so no one could steal it while Kris went to get the truck.
