So yesterday was the one year anniversary of Jon's stroke. I was a little nervous that something might happen again. I know it doesnt work that way, but I still wondered. Anyway nothing happened but it sure was an emberassing afternoon.
First of all we go to the crosswalk and were there maybe 5 mins and Bridger poops. Well whatever I change him, but his diaper stunk so bad I couldn't keep it in the car. So I slide it under my car with intentions of taking home after work. Well when the parents showed up this little lady comes walking over to my car. So I roll down the window and she says," a diaper must have fell out of your car." Before I could say or do anything she bends down climbs under my car and grabs the diaper. I told her, " oh I can just get it later." She hands me the diaper and says," well I dont want you to drive over it."
Then I start crossing kiddos about the 3rd kid across the alarms and lights start going off on my car. I run over but Bridger has locked his self and the keys in the car. Since I was in the middle if crossing there wasnt much I could do, so I finished working. The whole time the lights and alarm going off. Everyone kept asking "who's car is that?" "I dont know but its sure annoying." Yeah thats just my son.
So as soon as the kids had all crossed I decided to go asses the situation. Yes the doors were locked, but luckily I cracked the windows and my arms are skinny :) I tried the drivers side first but the crack just wasnt big enough for my arm to fit in. Then I tried the passengers side and I could fit my arm in to hit the unlock button. So I did, but since our stupid car is a button start everything is automatic. We have no keys everything runs off the clicker thing. Anyway because of this when I pushed the unlock button the car over rides it and locks again. Everytime you do this the alarms go off. Bridger figures that out as well so he keeps hitting the unlock button so the alarm goes off. So I squeeze my arm in as far as I can to reach the handle and I can barely grab it. Which I do but the car once again over rides and locks again. I called Jon he is an hour away from town with the only other remote (which are $200 a piece).
So I tried to reach for the handle and ended up bruising my whole arm in the process, but same results. The car overide and locked again. So I tried one more time but this I grabed the outdoor handle the same time I pulled the inside handle... It worked. I got Bridger and said, " your free" he clapped his hands and laughed.
So emberassing yeah, but much better than riding in an ambulance.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhahahhahahahhaha!!!!!!! OH my heavens this was funny reading... Knock on wood this will never happen! hahaha...
LOL! We have all had moments like that. When Evan was little (before he was even one) I locked him in a car, in the dead of summer, without any windows down. I had to call the police. When the police officer arrived, he said, "There are better ways to get rid of them, you know." He meant it as a joke, but I was so upset & scared, that I didn't find it funny! So have no fear. . .we all have days like that. :)
