Super Mom
Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
So gentle, yet so strong.
The many ways you show you care
Always make me feel I belong.
You're patient when I'm foolish;
You give guidance when I ask;
It seems you can do most anything;
You're the master of every task.
You're a dependable source of comfort;
You're a dependable source of comfort;
You're my cushion when I fall.
You help in times of trouble;
You support me whenever I call.
I love you more than you know;
I love you more than you know;
You have my total respect.
You'd be the one I'd select!
Bonnie
My Mom is the best. She is always there for me when ever I need her. I text her on the phone all day long. She would do anything for anybody if she thinks they need help. She has taken me to countless doctors appointments, surgery, school programs, and followed me to everyone of my volleyball games. She has taught me so many things that makes me the person I am today. She used to get so excited about any date I ever went on probablly more than me, and couldn't wait to hear the details when I got home.We love to laugh and joke together and she is never afraid to just have fun. She has worked really hard to keep us 5 kids really close, and has made us her whole life. Now that we have families of our own that love has extended to her grandkids.
LindaWhen I very first met Jon's mom Linda, Jon had already decided to move out to Wyoming. I had spoken to her briefly on the phone, but never officialy met her. So I was very nervous to meet her. I had never went home to meet the in-laws before. All the guys I had dated I knew their mother before I knew them. So this was something new to me. Besides the fact that Jon is Linda's only son, and baby, whom I was about to take away from her. When I flew in to Atlanta, Georgia I flew in at 5 AM and Walter (Pa in-law)and Jon picked me up at the airport. We then drove about 4 more hours to Southern Georgia. We went straight to Linda's work and the first thing she did was give me a big hug(they hug alot in Southern Georgia) and then she looked me up and down. The thought ran in my head "she hates me" but I quickly won her over when she found out I was good at giving Jon a hard time. Linda has become a dear freind to me. Even though they live far away she has done a trememndous amount to make me feel welcome and apart of the family. Linda has worked very hard her whole life to take care of her family and children, and to keep them together. She is the baby out of her brothers and sisters, but acts more like the mother. She is always checkin on her living siblings and making sure they are all right and don't need anything. I am so very thankful for the way she raised Jon. I'm thankful she taught him to be rightous person and raised him in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm thankful she supported him while he served on his mission for the church. I'm proud that she lets me call her Mama as well.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
